EXTORTION BY TAXATION

Watch this video and see the face of government out of control. Watch and listen to Chucky "Porky" Schumer threaten to bring down on the heads of American citizens the full power of the U.S. government to tax its citizens. Apparently if Chucky and his comrades don't like what you are doing they will bring to bear all the power of their office, an office loaned to them by the American people, and use it to crush those they judge to have stepped out of line.

In the video, Chucky is threatening the AIG executives with being extorted out of their bonuses by government taxation if they do not return the bonuses to the government. I abhor the bailout mentality that has taken control of our government and I am sickened by the waste of our money. This isn't about Democrats or Republicans, its about government out of control. I don't have a lot of sympathy for these executives, but their bonuses may be legal. Certainly we need to allow the rule of law to prevail in this situation. Chucky cannot legally threaten these American citizens with extortion by taxation. The U.S. Congress can not be judge, jury, and executioner.

This is an attack on the U.S. Constitution. If these citizens can be threatened and made to buckle under to government threats we might as well tear up the constitution and go back to mob rule. What the hell is happening to our country? These people are in the process of assembling a ruling oligarchy. These executives are far from sympathetic figures, but we can not allow our elected officials to become thugs and threaten Americans from the floor of the U.S. Senate. We need to be very afraid of these kind of abuses of power. The rights of Americans are even more important in situations where the victim is despicable.

What happens when there is no one left to protect you?

We have no one on the Hill that represents We The People any longer.

Brooke,
Thanks for the visit. I agree that we are not only being abandoned by our government. It appears that we are being targeted by it.

What a guy that Schumer is -- an M1A1, mighty fine guy.

Good thing he's on our side. It's a comforting thing to know that Frank, Dodd, Leahy, Schumer, Obama and countless other fine upstanding statesmen in our glorious state are looking after our best interests.

The people of New York deserve better than this schmuck. I am actually at the point that I cannot even stand to listen to these bozos, without fantasizing about cussing everyone of them out right in the middle of one of these fake displays of nobility.

This is why my blog-buddy L. A. Sunset argues that we should simply vote against incumbents in the next election. "We can't possibly do worse," he said. The more I see of the Congress, the more inclined I am to agree with him.

I think we might excuse Porky Schumer as an idiot from NY were it not for the other, equally serious indicators. All 535 members of Congress are pretending shock and awe by the AIG issue, and easily 70% of those twits created the problem through commission or omission. If anyone deserves public execution for this debacle, it is members of congress—an act, by the way, not prohibited by the Constitution.

Over the weekend, for example, the DC Madam told her constituents in San Francisco that the American rule of law is un-American; this from a woman who avails herself of a USAF Gulfstream V at our expense; we understand, of course — she’s entitled to perks.

And, since I’m on a roll, Eric Holder today admitted a plans to release some Gitmo detainees inside the United States. Only recently, Obama realized that repetitive messages of gloom and doom are not good examples of leadership.

So I think Mr. Sunset is right, and I wonder if the Geico Gecko wouldn't make a better congressman than ... oh, I don't know — chose any from a too long list of incompetent legislators.

LA,
Thanks for the visit. I share your frustration with these guys, but I also fear their abuses of power. Voting against incumbents is certainly a viable stance.

Mustang,
Thanks for the visit. Your comments on Pelosi are right in keeping with her leftist pandering to her leftist constituents. She is worthless as a legislator and serves only the purpose being a powerbroker for the Dems.

As for Holder, he is every nightmare his opposition envisioned. Releasing terrorists into our midst and calling us cowards. This guy is dangerous. And it begins...

You want us to actually watch Schumer on our own accord?

..what's the punchline?!

Law and Order Teacher said...

I don't care so much that you watch Schumer as I care that you know what he stands for. He is power out of control. That's the point I'm trying to make. When will it be some of us?

When am I going to wake up from this horrendous nightmare? I fear I won't ever dare to go to sleep again.

My grandchildren could do a better job than these freaking bozos!, oh, and the oldest one is 7.

Pat,
Sounds like the Toby Keith song, eh?

AA,
I hope we wake up in 2010. But we need to lay the groundwork now.

If you get a chance, LOT, check out Atlas Shrugs, where she got posts indicating that the Democrats are initiating the directives from Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged."
