In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions

PALIN IS THE MAN!
Here she is! She is all you would want in a candidate. Tough, unintimidated, and on her own road. Well done.

I am still getting up to speed on Palin, but what I have read so far is impressive especially her gumption to stand up against her own Alaska Republican good-ol' boys club.
She may not be perfect but she is head and shoulders above some of the other choices.
I have been so stoked with the Palin nomination, but then this morning's news brought me back down a bit.
It turns out, though, that the left's reaction to Bristol's pregancy has been so harsh, that I'm convinced that the conservative unity behind McCain-Palin will overpower the nihilist hatred on the left.
Thanks for your visit. People are people. Their children will be what they are, children. I wish that they never made a bad decision, but they will. In your blog I related the story about an National Honor Society decision to deny admission to a young, unwed mother. That was wrong. That girl earned her admission with her academic skills. That they denied her admission was akin to the Salem Witch Trials.
I am a retired police officer. In an inexplicable moment of madness I then became a high school history teacher in 2002. As I navigate through daily life I am keenly aware that my generation owes the country an apology for the 1960s. Although I was not an active participant, on behalf of all the burned out hippies that are leading most of our institutions of higher learning, I'm sorry!

In many ways, I wish that Palin were at the top of the Republican ticket. I like her. A lot.
I agree. She'll get in with McCain and gain the national rep and then win on her own.
