In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions
This song takes me back to my college days. Lying on my bed in the dorm, the window cracked, with the rain falling outside, my GF at my side, snuggled in my arms. That is all I will say on that subject. :)
I am a retired police officer. In an inexplicable moment of madness I then became a high school history teacher in 2002. As I navigate through daily life I am keenly aware that my generation owes the country an apology for the 1960s. Although I was not an active participant, on behalf of all the burned out hippies that are leading most of our institutions of higher learning, I'm sorry!
