In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions

BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC
My dad wanted this played at his funeral, but our church wouldn't do it. Why, I don't know. So I'll play it for him now.

That's odd. These days, I can't even imagine a Southerner objecting to the Battle Hymn, especially if it was the wish of the deceased. I hope you and your family are doing well, or as well as can be expected.
I am a retired police officer. In an inexplicable moment of madness I then became a high school history teacher in 2002. As I navigate through daily life I am keenly aware that my generation owes the country an apology for the 1960s. Although I was not an active participant, on behalf of all the burned out hippies that are leading most of our institutions of higher learning, I'm sorry!
