In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions

I'M YOUR VEHICLE, BABY
This a cool song by another one-hit wonder. Their sound is obviously very similar to Chicago. In fact, my friends and I thought this was Chicago when it first came out. Good song. Name of the group?
RWP, Are you kidding me? I loved America. A Horse With No Name was very popular when I was on Okinawa and in Vietnam. I listened to that song incessantly. I guess we cling to parts of home when we're away. That, of course along with our guns and our religion when we get bitter.
I am a retired police officer. In an inexplicable moment of madness I then became a high school history teacher in 2002. As I navigate through daily life I am keenly aware that my generation owes the country an apology for the 1960s. Although I was not an active participant, on behalf of all the burned out hippies that are leading most of our institutions of higher learning, I'm sorry!

Remember how everybody always said America sounded like Neil Young? I never heard the resemblance myself, but I knew a lot of people who did.
You remember America, right? Horse with No Name.

Great song! I am going to try to post one of this group on mY blog. THANKS!!!
I didn't say I didn't like America, just that I never got the "sounds just like Neil Young" thing.
RWP,
Thanks for the visit.
I didn't think you didn't like America. I guess my vernacular takes on a kiddish tone when I'm around them all day.
TT,
I'll be over to give it a listen. Thanks for the visit.
