RONALD REAGAN, 1911-2010

Tomorrow is the 99th birthday of Ronald Wilson Reagan. In the pantheon of presidents he is in the inner circle. I've never been an advocate of rankings presidents because historically they are slaves to opinion. I'll just say that Reagan held fast to his principles and that is the measure of a man.

He was a great man who achieved greatly and that is the measure of an American. We miss you Mr. President.

Ronald Reagan was a great man. He's greatly missed.

On a personal note. My niece turned 16 on Feb 6th which is kind of cool since Reagan is one of my brother's (niece's dad) favorite Presidents.

Thanks for the tribure to Ronald Reagan L&OT. That was really thoughtful of you.

I agree with your assessment, but when he was president he had his cross to bear and he did it well, with the hearins he had to endure at the hands of the "D"s, but endure he did along with ollie North.....stay well....

PDH,
Thanks for the visit.

Tap,
He did maintain while he was hit on all sides. That what people do who are committed to their principles to the extent that they won't allow anything to corrupt them. Thanks for the visit.
