In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions

RAT PATROL
I loved these war shows when I was a kid. Rat Patrol was a show my family watched together. The good guys always won. I wasn't inspired to go into the military by these shows, but I certainly wasn't discouraged. America is a force for good in the world. I am convinced of that.
I am a retired police officer. In an inexplicable moment of madness I then became a high school history teacher in 2002. As I navigate through daily life I am keenly aware that my generation owes the country an apology for the 1960s. Although I was not an active participant, on behalf of all the burned out hippies that are leading most of our institutions of higher learning, I'm sorry!
