In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky Resolutions

MORE FROM, THE BAND
Funny, when I hear this song I don't feel lonely at all. I think it's just some beautiful music. The sax at the end is outstanding. I think it was Garth Hudson. This is just outstanding stuff. I could listen to them all night. I think I will.
Garth Hudson's still playing? That's the amazing Rick Danko singing, right? the MOST haunting voice.
I ADORE their version of The Night They Drove Ol' Dixie Down.
I'm quite sure I've never not liked anything they've done. The harmonies, the twangy, haunting thing they do with their instruments...it can't be beat if you like that kind of sound.
This was gorgeous, Teach, thanks SO much. What a treat!
I am a retired police officer. In an inexplicable moment of madness I then became a high school history teacher in 2002. As I navigate through daily life I am keenly aware that my generation owes the country an apology for the 1960s. Although I was not an active participant, on behalf of all the burned out hippies that are leading most of our institutions of higher learning, I'm sorry!

Yes, Garth Hudson it is, and he's playing even better now than ever.
