WISHING YOU WERE HERE

Chicago is an impressive band. Terry Kath was the soul of the band. When he died in 1978, Robert Lamm said the soul of Chicago died with him. They were never the same without him. The song Dialogues was a great example of his talent. Peter Cetera was also talented, but Terry Kath had a unique quality to his voice that gave Chicago a sound that other bands couldn't mimic.

Chicago never really recovered from his death. In all fairness, they were still a very good band with Cetera and Lamm as singers. But, were they the same? I don't know. What do you think?
