THE ANDREW SISTERS

While in California we went to a concert by the 59th Army Band. In the concert was a lot of WWII music. My father-in-law loved it. We danced and enjoyed ourselves while the band played. The concert was played at a VA center. In the audience were a lot of WWII veterans and Korean War veterans. The band played music from that era and they were great. My nieces, who were 5 and 3 were enthralled by the music. Their parents were in the Guard and the band. The older people around us were in love with them. When the band played this song and three of the band members, including my sister-in-law sang this song the people went crazy. There were two older ladies in front of us and after the song, one turned to the other and said, "Hearing that song was worth the whole trip." My father-in-law was in agreement.
