NIKITA, WHERE ARE YOU?

Just an awesome song. I had a girl in my class named Nikita. She didn't live in the district, but showed up everyday. She was a great student that wanted to be in our school, even though her mother was a scumbag and didn't care about her. She rode the city bus everyday to school even though she didn't live in our district. I didn't find out about it until the end of the year. She was a great kid and I miss her. I wonder where she is today.

yeah, she thawed the cold war real quick. Remember Dan Aykroyd's Soviet hook up in Spys Like Us?

Obob,
Thanks for the visit. I remember that movie well. That was when the NRFPT Players had it going on. Very funny movie and very hot Soviet.

What's really amusing is that in Russia, "Nikita" is a man's name. Of course, knowing the preferences of Elton John, this makes the song make a lot more sense.

Elton John is one of my all-time favorite singers. I could listen to his stuff all day long as long as the songs are from 1983 and later.

Chanman,
Thanks for the visit. I too, am a huge fan of Elton John. Your point is well taken. While am not a fan of his proclivities I love his music. Again, thanks for the visit.
